Responsibilities:
Detailed Job Description
Accounting & Reporting (40%)
- Perform complete and accurate accounting in line with Vietnamese standards
- Check and reconcile data across departments to ensure consistency
- Prepare financial and periodic management reports as required by law
- Prepare financial analysis to support management decisions
Debt & Cash Flow Management (30%)
- Track and manage receivables and payables in detail and on time
- Monitor revenue and expenses so they reflect actual business performance
- Control cash flow and forecast short- and long-term financial needs
- Manage the company's investments and fixed assets
Compliance & Control (20%)
- Review documents and accounting practices to ensure legal compliance
- Maintain accounting books, invoices, and records as regulated
- Coordinate with tax authorities, auditors, and banks as needed
- Ensure tax filing and reporting are timely and accurate
Consulting & Development (10%)
- Propose improvements to accounting and financial management processes
- Help build the company's financial and accounting policies
- Support training and guidance for other accounting staff when needed
Applicant Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance & Banking
- Minimum 2–3 years as a General Accountant or equivalent
- Preferred: experience in manufacturing or trading of gold, silver, jewelry, or precious metals
Professional knowledge
- Strong command of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and current tax regulations
- Solid understanding of the corporate accounting regime and financial reporting process
- Knowledge of corporate law, tax law, and related regulations
- Familiarity with jewelry-industry accounting is a significant advantage
Computer skills
- Required: proficiency in accounting software (MISA, FAST, Bravo, SAP, etc.)
- Required: strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic macros)
- Preferred: experience with ERP software, Power BI, or other data-analysis tools
Soft skills
- Careful, honest, and highly responsible
- Strong data analysis and professional reporting
- Able to work independently and effectively within a team
- Good communication; able to present and explain financial matters clearly
Other requirements
- Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Willing to work overtime during reporting and settlement periods
- An accountant or chief accountant certificate is an advantage
